I just completed The Last Of Us: Remastered just a while ago. To be honest, the game did not appeal to me as much prima facie. What really made me want to try the game was IGN giving a 10/10! Now I have been following IGN and some of my most favourite games has only been given a 9 point something out of 10. For this to get a 10/10 and be called a masterpiece made it seem as if the game itself beckoned me to try it. So while staring at my stash, I decided to give it a go and see what was it about the game that deserves the full marks from IGN. As usual, this will be done without spoilers. Also note that the PS4 version is the remastered version so it is graphically nicer, hence my bias that the graphics are awesome.

[PS4] Watch Dogs - A Review
To be honest, I knew nothing of this game. Yes, my classmate did ask me to get the game on Steam but I did not really go and find out more about the game. It wasn't until I was walking in a local shopping mall before violin class that I saw a shop playing a gameplay demo. I stood there and watched and it piqued my interest. I immediately got the game and started on it the soonest I could. I will do this review without spoilers so it will not spoil the game for you guys.

[Vita] 'Ragnarok Odyssey Ace': An Early Review
Having played Ragnarok Online as well as Ragnarok Online 2, I was pretty psyched to be able to put my hands on this game (besides the fact that this game was going to be the first Ps Vita game I actually played). One thing to note though is that this is still an early review, of which I might revisit it at a later stage and write a full review.

Response: "I have no identity crisis, merely defending Islam, says Ridhuan Tee" (The Malaysian Insider, 26 May 2014)
Before I begin my response, allow me to first state that this is totally my opinion. It does not mean to reflect the opinion of the general public, nor do I claim to be an expert in any field in relation to what is laid out by this article and my response. This is, I repeat, entirely my own view. With that said, let me first draw your attention to the said article in malaysiakini about the controversial Ridhuan Tee Abdullah.

Silk: The Road to Q.C.
One of the hit legal drama that is the always at the tip of everyone's tongue today is Suits. It is an American legal drama about a successful and famous lawyer that hires an associate that does not have the qualifications to be a lawyer. Yet, the whole show revolves around how the duo solve issues and close cases, drawing from Harvey's experience and wisdom and Mike's intelligence and mind.
From a personal point of view, placing this American TV series with others like Criminal Minds and White Collar, I somehow find myself favoring the latter rather than the former. Don't get me wrong. Suits is really an entertaining show. I do like watching how they get out of sticky situations amidst the chaos and turmoil all around them. But all good things must come to an end. I just finished watching the final episode of Season 3 two days back. I now have to wait for Season 4. Then suddenly a thought came to me. Most of our shows are American. Britain do have excellent TV shows like Sherlock. Since I am now even more in the the legal line, I thought, why not try to find British legal drama. My search turned out fruitful. I found a rather interesting legal drama - Silk.

Response: "Najib: Absolute freedom can lead to chaos" (The Sun, 11 May 2014)
I was reading the newspaper yesterday and came across an article that caught my attention. The headline read "Najib: Absolute freedom can lead to chaos" (click here for the said article). The issue of freedom of speech or freedom of expression has been on the tongues of Malaysians for some time now, spurred on by the recent sedition charges brought against prominent Malaysians like Theresa Kok and the late Karpal Singh. One does not need to look far back to find the invocation of this Sedition Act 1948 on the likes, for example, Marina Yusoff, Chua Tian Chang, and Mohd Tamrin Abdul Ghafar, among the many. Even the then Deputy Prime Minister, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, in 2003, threatened to charge those who opposed the change in educational policy emphasising the teaching of science and maths in English with sedition. This brings to question, where then lies our freedom to express our opinions and thoughts? Where is our rights to freedom of speech?

The Start of a New Journey
I know I have countless of blogs. For those who do follow, you must be thinking, "Oh no, not another one!" But I thought, with all that has been happening, I thought that I would want a dedicated blog just for my life and thoughts and anything else personal. bryanboo.blogspot.com will be reserved for downloads and reviews (speaking of which, I will have to start being more hardworking at providing more stuff for you guys. Has been quite awhile. LOL!).
But yes, I have decided to embark on a new journey after so many, many years.
